Laught yourself silly

Went to see Ross Noble in Cairns last night, laughed ourselves silly. We were lucky to be given tickets by friends who were too poorly to make the 2 hour drive from Mission Beach to Cairns - thanks Andy & Jan! If you have a chance to see this bloke, go for it......for those not familiar with the English git accent we recommend inserting a babel fish prior to the performance!

School holidays are going to be busy

We can tell already that the school holidays are going to be a busy time in Mission Beach because it is becoming harder to find accommodation for those last minute visitors. We are getting a little thrill whenever we successfully find somewhere for them to lay their heads at night. I'm personally all for keeping things casual and free when on holidays but sometimes, and school holidays is one of those times, booking ahead can be a good thing.
