Cassowary up close

I was visiting a friend in Bingil Bay yesterday and was lucky enough to see a cassowary up close, well relatively close, at the end of the driveway. Of course I didn't have my camera so was unable to get a photo which was a shame because he was a beautiful looking bird. I love that you can drive around Mission Beach and at any time or place you might be lucky enough to see a cassowary going about their daily lives.
